In an effort to expand our services to Permanent Makeup Professionals we are currently offering customized websites and banners. 

The websites we will be offering will be three pages for one price, which would include the hosting for one year.  Any additional pages added would be at an extra fee.  We allow a variety of color palettes to choose from, as well as various fonts, and stock photos.  We will also use customer supplied photos if you have them available.

In addition to personalized websites, we are offer 728×90 custom color banners, advertising your company, that can be displayed on a number of sites. 

Of course we still offer the Preferred Listing on all our Permanent sites.  That is typically a block ad that is showcased on all SIX of our Permanent Makeup and Tattoo Sites for one low, all inclusive price.

We believe even though the economic times are hard, that makes it increasingly crucial to advertise your services. That’s why we are working diligently to come up with some new and affordable ways to promote permanent cosmetics!

For those of you who might have stumbled across our blog seeking information on Permanent Cosmetics, I thought I would give a brief synopsis of what permanent makeup actually is and how you can benefit from the procedures.

Permanent Makeup can be called many different things, i.e. Permanent Cosmetics, Micropigmentation, Dermagraphics, Tattoo, Cosmetic Tattooing etc.  No matter which name  you choose to use the process is pretty much the same.

Permanent Makeup is a process where pigmentation is inserted into the dermal layer of the skin.  The application of permanent makeup can be achieved in various ways: pen or rotary machine, coil machine, or non-machine hand method.  A topical ointment can be administered if any discomfort is present.

This process is a viable option for people who:

Don’t like spending the time to apply makeup,
Are athletic and don’t wish to keep re-applying their makeup,
Have difficulty applying makeup due to unsteady hands,
Are allergic to various cosmetic products,
Need to look their best at all times,
Have a medical condition that would benefit from scar camouflage

Common permanent cosmetic procedures are:  permanent eyebrows, eyelids, lips, beauty marks, scar camouflage, and areola pigmentation.

We suggest contacting a Permanent Makeup Professional in your area and scheduling a consultation.  This is the best way to get a good idea of the process involved, equipment used, and any concerns you have.

Remember, educating yourself prior to your procedure is the best time you can spend.

In order for our Permanent Cosmetics Directory to be successful and credible it is important that the information on our sites is as accurate as possible.  Our staff works hard to verify information that we post in our sites and it is a constant work in progress.

For the Professionals listing with us, we are offering a window of time where you may request a modification in your Preferred Listing, free of charge.  Let me clarify - if any professional has listed in their ad that they are affiliated with any organization that they are no longer a member of, or have never been a member of - please contact us - and we will will make that type of modification free of charge.  If you contact us by October 16th, 2008, we will be happy to make your changes.  You can send the request to me at crystal@permanentcosmeticsdirectory.com    Any other types of revisions, i.e. address changes, phone numbers, etc. will still incur a $25.00 revision fee (this covers changing your ad on all six sites in the network).

I had stated in a previous post we are not affiliated with any association or regulatory body in regards to permanent makeup, micropigmentation, or tattooing.  We are merely an online resource for people interested in permanent cosmetics.  The information our professionals forward to us is not verified, and we expect each professional to supply accurate information with the highest degree of integrity.

Permanent Cosmetics Directory works hard at keeping our listings current.  We also try to keep up to date on the state by state regulations in regards to micropigmentation and cosmetic tattooing.  Although the majority of our listings are in the United States, we encourage our international Permanent Makeup Professionals to list with us as well.  The more places you are on the world wide web, the more exposure you will receive to your website.
